Teaching staff of the University of Tartu are encouraged to nominate their course to the ENLIGHT Teaching and Learning Award 2023.

Based on the proposals submitted by students, the committee formed by the UT Student Union has chosen the recipients of the teaching staff of the year awards for 2022.

Rector of the University of Tartu Toomas Asser announced the university's contribution to society award, research award and language award and recipients of the teaching staff  of the year award.

The government has approved the laureates of this year’s national research awards. The lifetime achievement award for long-term outstanding research and development was presented to Mihkel Zilmer.
