President to award decorations also to University of Tartu employees

On 6 February, the President of the Republic announced the recipients of this year’s state decorations. There are also University of Tartu employees among the recipients.

Professor of Botany Meelis Pärtel was awarded the Order of the White Star, 4th class.

Populariser of physics and Head of the Centre for School Physics Kaido Reivelt was awarded the Order of the White Star, 5th class.

Junior Research Fellow in Infectious Diseases Anne Kallaste was awarded the Order of the Estonian Red Cross, 3rd class.

Lecturer in Infectious Diseases Pilleriin Soodla was awarded the Order of the Estonian Red Cross, 3rd class.
