Successful student:
1. can explain the causes of astronomical phenomena observed from Earth;
2. knows and is familiar with the basic concepts and formulas of astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology;
3. describes the structure of the Solar system and the movement of the planets;
4. knows the parameters that characterize Stars and can describe the composition and evolution of Stars;
5. knows the classification of galaxies and can describe the composition of galaxies and the movement of Stars in galaxies;
6. knows the models of modern cosmology and describes the structure of the Universe;
7. is able to solve astronomical problems at the Olympiad level independently, using his / her prior knowledge of physics and mathematics.
